Good For The Environment

We Believe In The Power Of Good; Good For The Environment

As past growers, processors and distributors of fresh produce, we understand first-hand that a healthy, protected environment is crucial to our business. We depend on nature’s resources and are vulnerable to her forces. While it’s our mission to only ever produce good food that’s good for you, we are also passionate about eating sustainably and the need to protect the environment. But to do this, there’s a delicate balance that must be achieved.

Eating Sustainably

Our new journey is exploring how plant proteins and a plant-based diet can replace mankind’s dependence on animal protein. The world is already fast adopting this change and by 2020 the global alternative meat market is set to reach $5.2 billion.

The benefits are impressive: a vegetarian burger, for example, uses 95 per cent less land, 74 per cent less water, and generates 87 per cent less greenhouse gas emissions.

We are excited by the new opportunities that eating sustainably present us with and look forward to sharing them with you soon.
